It has been a long cold winter in the North, not really great for riding. We survived the winter here on the farm and are happy to feel the warmer temperatures starting to come.

On the other hand, we had six horses down in Wellington for the winter season. Trainer Paul Mayne has been showing La Luna’s Cara in the high schooling jumpers and have had a lot of success. Both of them will be ready for the summer show season. The other horses have been training and schooling at the horse show. It gives both horse and rider the opportunity to stay in shape over the winter and be ready to compete in the Spring.

Our first show will be the Garden State Horse show in Sussex, NJ in the end of April and beginning of May. As usual, we will be attending the HITS Saugerties shows as well as the Vermont Summer Festival. It finally is starting to feel like Spring which must mean it is horse show season!!

We still have a few stalls left if anyone is interested in training and boarding here at the farm and joining us on the road. Please get in touch. See you at the barn.
